Friday kicked off 1WeekKC’s celebration of entrepreneurship in Kansas City. Seven days of uniting: innovators, thinkers, purveyors of aspiration, and those who want to dive into the world of entrepreneurship in KC.
There was no better way to start the festivities off than with the Rookie Lunch! Held at the Google Fiber Space Lounge (just down the street from KCSV), this event was a chance for locals to network with one another, share their: ideas, dreams, and passions, & hear from two successful and highly involved KC entrepreneurs: Stu Ludlow and Nathan Kurtz. A look into both of the speakers journeys: the high’s, the low’s, and what they believe has helped to shape their paths and the growth of their businesses was the perfect opening course for the attendees. In addition, questions were fielded at the end to satisfy the guest’s appetites for an array of answers they were seeking.
While enjoying a tasty creation from Cupini’s, this knowledge packed luncheon was a massive success!
Up next was: Startup Weekend Kansas City! A 48 hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. Started May 29th at 6:30 pm and concludes Sunday.
